Primark nails.. Yes or no?

Hello, beautiful people.

Before I start this post I just wanted to give you a little update about how I’m feeling about my blog right now. I put a tweet out on twitter saying how I was stuck in a rut with my blog. To be honest in the last couple of weeks I’ve been struggling to find the words to even start a post and just not had any motivation with anything blog related. I’ve been thinking about what I could do to make me happy with my blog again so I’m going to be adding a beauty category in. I am super excited for this new step and we’ll see how it goes. From now on I will be blogging about a little bit of everything! I hope I’ll be much happier from now and actually enjoy writing content!

So, recently I wondered into Primark and decided to pick up some of their glue on nails as well as some other stuff I really didn’t need but who can go into Primark and not go around the whole store.. I did take some to New York a few months back and got so many compliments on them but I thought I’d pick up some more and do a little review on them. Ever since starting my new job I just can’t seem to grow my nails as they just keep breaking, ugh and don’t get me wrong I love painting my own nails but sometimes I just can’t be bothered, anyone else have that feeling? so these are the perfect solution.

There was SO much choice, Primark have such a huge range and they seem to be growing. I struggled to know which ones to pick up but eventually I decided on three packs. I honestly couldn’t get over the price of the fake nails and the ones I picked up started from just £1.00. What a bargain. The nails they offer come in so many different shapes and sizes including square and almond.

The ones I picked up were ‘Violet’, ‘Red Velvet’ and ‘Insta Queen’.

I will only be reviewing ‘Violet’ as these are the ones I have been wearing and haven’t wore the others just yet.

First off I LOVED the shade of the matte ‘Violet’ nails, it’s just the perfect nude shade. The glue that comes with these nails is good and dries quickly although I would in the future purchase a stronger nail glue as it’s not the best but I wasn’t expecting it to be. The nails were so easy to apply and the range of sizes are great and I didn’t have a problem finding the size and shape for my nails.

When I was gluing them on I held the nail down for about 30 seconds and that seemed to be long enough so I would definitely recommend the 30 secs or longer but it’s completely up to you. Once on I had the to file them down as they were still quite long for me, after I had filed them I was so pleased with the nails and they felt really sturdy but after only a couple of days one of the nails had fell off so I brought some stronger nail glue and that seemed to help keep them on. These nails still looked good after about a week and I’m really impressed.

Overall, I’m so happy I found these nails and for the price they are such a bargain and I can’t wait to try out my other one’s. I’m pretty sure I will adding more to my collection. Have you tried Primark nails before, if so what did you think?

Love Samba

I absolutely love Primark nails! I actually bought Primarks nail glue that doesn’t come in the nail sets. For some reason, I found this glue keeps them on for longer, so maybe it’s different to the glue in the sets!

They are just so good for the money! Oh really?! That’s interesting, I didn’t know they did glue separately, I’ll have to check it out 💕

I always look through the nail sets in Primark but I never come out with any of them, I’m not sure why. I loved your review though, definitely made me want to buy a set and try them out! X
